To Note During Installation.

To ensure a successful installation, I kindly request to work without interruptions. Vehicles have complex electronic systems, and maintaining focus is essential for a proper installation.

We will need your vehicle keys, plus access to your vehicle during the fitting, including space to open doors.

Premier Shine accepts no responsibility in the client’s choice of camera, quality, memory card issues or signal interference issues etc.

A selection of Dash Cam’s do not come with a hard wiring kit or a memory card, please check this before purchasing. We can supply hard wiring kits at cost. You will need to purchase your manufacturers Hard wire kit if your camera has a ‘parking guard’ and no viewing screen.

Some Dash Camera or more specifically, the rear camera can interfere with DAB signal

Generally, the front cameras from reputable brands such as Nextbase, Road Angel, and Thinkware perform well. However, issues are often found with more budget-friendly brands such as; Orskey, iiwey, and Apeman, particularly for front and rear camera (systems priced under £100) These kits are suitable for front-only installation or for vehicles without DAB radio.

We can install cameras that are designed to remain permanently powered and automatically shut down when they detect a voltage drop. However, please be aware that faulty wiring or camera issues may lead to battery drainage. In such cases, I can not be held responsible for any battery-related problems.

Regarding rear cameras that function as reversing cameras, please note that we will not connect the reverse wire. In some cases, this connection may not be feasible, and many of these cameras can interfere with the DAB signal. This is particularly relevant for modern vehicles, which typically come equipped with DAB as a standard feature.
